
Ingredients:
Mazola oil
2 large Vidalia Onions
2 lb ground beef
1 large can Contadina tomato paste
4 cans of Contadina tomato sauce (14 oz)
1/4 c. granulated sugar
Garlic powder
Oregano
2 lbs uncooked spaghetti
Cooking Instructions:
- Chop onions in a chopper. Sautee in small amount of Mazola oil.
- Add ground beef and simmer until well cooked.
- Mix tomato paste in equal amount of water and add to meat mixture. Simmer.
- Add sugar. Simmer.
- Add tomato sauce. Simmer.
- Add garlic powder and oregano too taste. Simmer for at least one hour.
This makes enough sauce for 2 lb of uncooked spaghetti. Freeze 1/2 and only make one pound of uncooked spaghetti. This way you have a quick meal in the freezer
